| it's not a live mix. it's a mix just like you would see here in the mix section, some dude in his bedroom only this time it's john '00' fleming. he submits the mix to radio1 and they put their over it. to say they 'own' the mix is complete bull. |

Well, at least its giving J00F good exposure, by not releasing it and keeping BBC/Tong happy maybe they will give him another EM soon :)
I wish we could at least get a 192 kbps version, 128 is just... meh :( |

i think essential mixes are done in their bbc studio, Tong make them live and i think Armin did it live too, and the Oakenfold old mix has just been released, 9'99$ the cd i believe, they are just money bitches but be sure they have a tonelade of lawyers behind them and you have to be cautious. |

Unfortunately trancypantzzz Radio1 does own the mix, legally. J00F may have made it himself in his bedroom/studio, but Radio1 owns all the rights to the mix. |
