I have tried them and it feels exactly like a light cigarette. You still feel the hit at the back of your throat when you inhale, but it doesn't burn. It's very smooth and you exhale vapour similar to that which comes out of an air humidifier.

The only thing I found lacking in them was the sound and feel of the cigarette paper burning. I had no idea it was such a huge contributing factor to why I liked cigarettes.

You won't feel that your craving is 100% satisfied, but it definitely helps. You'll be chewing a lot of gum if this is the route you take.

All that aside, I had no idea you were such a selfish prick ignorant to the damage that second-hand smoke causes. Seriously. Man the up. Slip your coat on, light up, have your cig, and go back inside.
And stop being such an to your wife.

Do you want your baby to be born with deformed organs and respiratory problems because you are too much of a to stand outside in the cold, satisfying your addiction?
Think about it.

I've know three women in the past 2 years have kids whilst smoking, one of them had a miscarriage too and then got pregnant again and still smoked. ing grotesque.

I worked with a woman who chain smoked throughout her pregnancy as well. It's kind of sad seeing people manifest so little control over their own thoughts and behavior, especially when a child is involved.

I'd get rid of the cigs for the sake of my kid. There are way WAY harder habits to kick than cigs. I don't understand why cigs would outweigh your newborn. Nicotine just isn't that serious

Are you going to try to quit at any point? If so I beleive there are anti-anxiety meds that also help you quit smoking.

If you are really set on smoking in the house will you at least consider installing some type of home ventilation system. The second hand smoke will travel throughout the house even if you just limit it to one room.

Or may be one of those air purifiers that filter the smoke out of the air.

I finally tried one of these e-cigarettes over the weekend by the way. I must say it wasn't bad and for some reason it was even stronger than the regular cigarette I had been smoking just prior to trying it.

Smoke more and die. Kid will be better off.

Well, I just had the priviledge of hearing Dr. Gabor Mate speak at the university I'm doing my community health placement at, I really reccommend anyone interested in the topic of addiction pick up his book In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts . Very thought provoking and illuminating. He was an excellent speaker. Very intelligent man.

dude panadol/acetaminophen and the hardcore opiate-analgesics are totally different. you won't get hooked on tylenol man.

that's the mindset of someone who will quickly develop a dependence (depending on what type of pharm's they're taking)

Nah that article cant be right, or they tested some bad units. I got such a crazy nicotine buzz from using mine too much. Felt like the first time I ever smoked. I couldn't stand :P
