Coming up on 3 years smoke free in February. I smoked a couple cigs at a wedding last summer - it was awful, even worse than I remember! It was actually a nice reminder of how much I dislike it, blech!

Quit like 2 months ago, with a good deal of effort. I may have one now and then, but usually no more than 1 smoke a day. And even then I may just have a few pulls, as it also has become quit disgusting to me.

I think that's pretty much when I realized I'm no longer addicted - when all of a sudden it started tasting disgusting and I was like WTF is this ?!

In other words, you didn't quit.

Wrong.

Been using an e-cig for about a year now. The vape shops in Montreal are popping up all over the place.

No doubt the government will step in and ruin everything any day now, but for the moment I can enjoy a variety of flavors and smoke pretty much anywhere I want. (With a few exceptions)

Catch-22?

I always wonder how many cigarettes I could smoke in a row without getting hooked. But that would definitely require some willpower because the few times I've tried them (while drunk) one was quite enough.

If you didn't catch the reference, this looks like a line from Joseph Heller's novel:

You quit. You have one now and then. You don't have no more than one smoke a day.
