so, i have a kid on the way, and i have been told by the trouble and strife that im not allowed to smoke in the house when the baby comes. i told her she can bollocks as there is no way i am smoking outside, i will smoke in MY computer room, where she need never go.
she was still adamant that im not smoking in the house, but as far as im concerned she might as well shout at cat, as smoking outside is not an option.
then she tells me about these electronic cigarettes.. they warm up nicotine vapour and warm up and light up at the end just like a real cigarette.. and also it feels like your smoking a cigarette which is a bonus, as i have tried on of them inhalators before [which you use to try to quit] and theyre like sucking on nothing, which is generally annoying.
has anyone tried these before?.. or does anyone use them regular or know anyone that uses them?
apparently theyre cheaper than regular fags, and ofcourse less dangerous for you, and best of all, theyre safe to smoke indoors and around kids and stuff, which is the main reason i want to try it, as i point blank refuse to go outside to smoke, and i could do without the ing earache off the missus |
You've got a kid now.
Time to grow up. |

i bought an e-cig the other day out of curiosity and because i really want to gradually wind down my smoking. suffice it to say, that although its not marketed as a cessation tool i think it will totally will do the trick. since i bought one, i noticed that i halved the amount that i smoked in just a few days.
every time i get a craving i just take one puff, whereas if i had a cigarette i would take one puff and then another so i wouldn't let it go to waste. but there is no waste with the e-cig, so one puff is fine. another thing i noticed is that i had the habit of doing it only while i drive, so now sometimes i just hold the e-cig in my hand.
insofar as the flavor is concerned, i know its not the same but that's not necessarily bad thing. |

| WIsh they could recreate the filled lung smoke sensation. WOuld make it way easier for me to gradually to these before quitting. I have cut down the smoking lately, my gf has really bad asthma and hence i dont smoke around her which is a good thing, but something like this could really make my life a lot easier if the vapor could fill your lungs more. |

A good vaporizer produces more vapour than a cigarette produces smoke. |

| 2 months since I quit. Well OK I’ve had the occasional smoke since then but only very occasional. I strongly recommend champix for anyone that’s desperate to quit and failed previously. |

| If it puts a smile on your face then you must have thought about it. |
