| If you do indeed have an anxiety disorder or whatever it is, you can't ever really "beat" it. You can only get better at dealing with it when you need to. |

you can and you will if you don't stop trying.
it is not like you are schizophrenic or anything, millions of people suffer from anxiety/depression and get better. |

Haha, I'm pretty sure that's where my vice actually came from. Relaxes me greatly.
The main thing, in my mind, for handling and beating anxiety, depression, or whatever, is discipline. You have to want it and you have to really pour yourself into everything you do in life. Even if it feels like the last thing in the world you want to do, just try and be a little more passionate about things. That always helped me a bit, who knows. |

| jay i was on citalopram for post partum depression so i know what it's like. they had to give me sleeping pills for 4 weeks to counter the effects it would initially have being in my system. I would have said " it" but at the time my marriage was falling apart and i was really relying on them to help me and sure enough, after 4 weeks they sorted themselves out and it did work really well for me. I took them for a year and then got off of them (which wasn't easy either, i had ciggarettes to help me with that) but it may not be the best for you either. I don't know what you can do to help you cope, i hope you find something. Having a baby sure as hell won't make it go away, the next 2 years are going to be pretty crazy and stressful.. but thankfully they also provide you with an amazing experience that forces you to let your balls drop and be a man. You will love your baby more then anything else in the world i am sure of it. I guess i'm just saying whoever told you having a baby might help obviously doesn't have kids.. i wish all the best for you and your wife, she's really going to need your support. |

i still take sleeping pills, but that is because of problems with post concussion syndrome stemming from sports injuries.
I don't use them every night though and never on weekends. |

:) which is why i dont want to get on more meds, like strong meds. my life as it has been for the last 2 and a half years, has been a series of tests big and small, and i just have to deal with them. but i think i am gonna go to the doctors and see what else is on the market for me. gonna have to bite the bullet on this one.
in all honesty too.. i hate babies. i like kids, from around 18 months and so on... but babies i hate. so i guess the thought of having a baby for 18 months, is worrying lol
by the way did you sort a name out for your little boy yet? |
