Phew, I guess since nobody responded to your question that means that no one really knows a hostel in that area... I know that dazzle78 stayed in one for one night (just around the corner of Kulturbrauerei), but I can't remember the name. Maybe she can help you out? :)
Apart from that, how about Ibis or Etap?

"Generator Hostel Berlin" is not too far away from the location. It's located directly next to the urban railway station "Landsberger Allee" from which the Kulturbrauerei can be reached by suburban train plus a short walk from the station "Schönhauser Allee" in... say... 10-15 minutes.
I never stayed there though, but it looks pretty big, so getting a room there shouldn't be difficult at all. |

I booked a bed at a hostel just near the venue that looks quite nice, so now i'm all set :)
