| Change was inevitable but it will be normal that they reduce the price of alcohol if the change is not for more profits. |

| 2$ dollar beers would solve the problem :) but they'll probably be at least $5....:( |

| i'm sure they will work something out that will make people some what happy. to me, this isn't the end of the world. and the people that organize piknic don't strike me as the kind that are in it for the money. |

| Stop dreaming about reducing cover & alcohol prices. It's over. Some overused drugs and alcohol, they do the right thing for these stupid people. You can't bring your alcohol, they sale it , point. Bring juice, water, redbull. it's not that hard! |

concur, but tell that to the inflatable whale guy
I don't expect them to sell $2 beer, though that's certainly a way to kill several birds with one stone and please many. The no-rules
Piknic had its time and this is still better than losing Piknic. |

so im guessing the search at the entrance is gonna be a bit more intrusive now, or just lots of security going around sniffing your water bottle to make sure its not vodka?
either way whatevs, as long as the sun is shining and the beats are blasting. |

| If your all complaining, maybe Piknic is not right for you. You might enjoy your time at Beach Club with the rest of the roid rage and guido club. |

| bon vous vous êtes tous défoulé la? merci Martin pour essayez de faire comprendre ce qu'est l'origine des Picnik. ok let me put my 2 cents of advice...sic! First things first family orientation is for the afternoon part ok just imagine that some partyers do get in a love life and make babys anyway im still aware of that. so why cant these people come from lets say 14.00pm to early night and dance around a bit or just meet with people that still goes out late at night. as far as the booze goes well less booze more dancers. i remember back in the time when there was no phones or less techno devises people were smiling and talking to each other and house music was aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa feeling of gathering and dancing. cause if your crashing out all day/night maybe just maybe its not your venue and as suggested in this exchange go to beach club with the real clubbers? no wonder why a lot of old picnikers just dont think its like it was anymore. un tres bel été a touts les douches bags et les wannaby's |

Funny, Beach Club mentioned three times now. I think BC used to have the free-for-all too but now it's no more liquids from what I remember, maybe someone can confirm that?
If I was hosting an event of this scale and had to be responsible for letting patrons in with drinks, I would probably do the same thing too. It sucks but it's the sensible thing to do to sustain this gathering for electronic music.

domino effect means longer lines to get in cuz of the searches.
I've said it for years, something's got to give at Piknic, it's too much of a good thing to last the way it is. And this is step 1. |
