best place for a giant omlette: Day Break at church and carlton |

They're pretty good.
Another place I like is DayBreak on Church. Church and College I believe.
It's so cheap and the meals are HUGE! At first it looks expensive b/c the menu just has "eggs and bacon" or something, but then it ends up coming with hashbrowns and 3 pancakes etc. etc....it's pretty good. |

SO GOOD! Very cheap and amazing breakfast/brunch. Only downside is it can get quite busy on weekends... |
Don't go to Daybreak...They have the worst coffee in the world there, stupid busy on weekends , their home fries come out of a carton, and just because they give you a lot of food doesn't make it good.
There are so many better places for brunch in Toronto depending on what you want.
Pub - The House on Parliment
Brunch - Le Petite Dejeuner (their waffles taste like they were made with ground up angels wings), Edward Levesque, Mildred Pierce (although not as good as when it was beside 99 Sudbury, Toast, Hanks, Gilead Cafe, Harlem Underground...
Greasy Spoon - Breakfast Grill (Queen & Parliment), Beachside Grill, original Sunset Grill |

I've been wanting to go since it opened - since its so close to where I live... I hear mixed things about Coras but I need to try it out for myself. Plus the french are best at doing breakfast :) |
haha, I think it's pretty much in between where we live |

| Does anyone know any 24hour pizza places downtown? The closest I can think of is Big Slice that's open till 5AM all week |

Listen to this man. Almost every single restaurant recommendation I've had from him has been amazing. |

Definitely not the best pizza, but the slice has saved me many times during all nighters at school. |

as long as you can get in ;)
the rule with PD is if there are more than 3 people in front of you in the line, expect a 30+ minutes wait.
Other Brunch options:
Downtown core:
Hot House Cafe (this is buffet w/ live jazz) - good food, but long lineup, if we can't get in PD , we go here.
Cora's at Cartlon/Yonge - already been mentioned, but this location's lineup is better than the other 2
West:
Aunties and Uncles (college & bathurst)
The Hoof Cafe (923 Dundas St W) - very good food, their suckling pig eggs benny is famous
Epicure: Queen and Bathurst- rooftop patio is a win and food is really good.
Center:
The Rebel House - 1068 Yonge street (across Rosedale station) , my fav place, pretty neat patio in the back |
