Don't go to Daybreak...They have the worst coffee in the world there, stupid busy on weekends , their home fries come out of a carton, and just because they give you a lot of food doesn't make it good.

There are so many better places for brunch in Toronto depending on what you want.

Pub - The House on Parliment
Brunch - Le Petite Dejeuner (their waffles taste like they were made with ground up angels wings), Edward Levesque, Mildred Pierce (although not as good as when it was beside 99 Sudbury, Toast, Hanks, Gilead Cafe, Harlem Underground...
Greasy Spoon - Breakfast Grill (Queen & Parliment), Beachside Grill, original Sunset Grill

:( yes Jay.

I like Day Break haha. But, I also know you KNOW your food. So I'll listen to you.

Jay's spot on with the house of parliment... I used to go there all the time when I lived in ST Jamestown.

Please don't consider this anything close to what Korean BBQ is supposed to taste like. I wish they would just call this place Grill House. The meats aren't marinated in any Korean style, so basically it's just you cooking raw meat with Korean-style side dishes (and even these are pretty substandard).

There's a few places in Koreatown (Miga, Il Bun Ji) and north around Yonge and Steeles (Sariwon) that are better. The best places aren't usually all you can eat.

noted.... but I guess I can only compare it to the others that I've been to downtown... Can the same not be said of Chinese food places (ie. they're North Americanized Chinese cuisine...)

Regardless - going to Korean bbq, I take in more meat in one meal than I probably do in a typical two weeks or so lol, (I'm a part-time vegetarian if that's possible :p), the food tastes pretty-good to me :p.

I eat naturally and locally raised preferebly organic foods and I do love my burgers. There is a new place in town that fits that criteria and the taste and quality is top notch. They opened at the end of March and they are at Jones/Gerrard "Great Burger Kitchen". Their own GBK sauce is awesome. I also like "Hero Burgers" a lot. I would place "Craft Burger" in third. I haven't seen any other organic burger joints worth mentioning.

For fine dining and show off "Centro" on Yonge/Eglinton is hard to beat.

There are a few Russian/Caucasi restaurants across the city, and for the life of me I cant remember any of the names, but that is my favorite food. They would go under Middle Eastern cuisine and then some. Yum-yum.
