Best Shwarma/falafel in the city is at a place called Falafel World(jane and bloor). Just ask for the combination plate. Trust me a lot of people claim to know the best shwarma place, but if they tell you anything other then Falafel world they don't know sh*t.

Burritos - Burrito Boyz or Burrito Banditos (formerly Burrito Boys) is really good. And I tried that place on Yonge near the Eaton Centre....Chipotle Grill. They're pretty good and have a nice variety of wraps. Fast food, no doubt though.
Has anyone tried ztecha gourmet burritos? |

Katsura (Westin Prince Hotel) --> Also well known for their Teppanyaki
Kaiseki Yu-Zen Hashimoto (Mississauga and new location at Shops @ Don Mills) --> You need to book 1 week in advance and meals are $300 per person. :crazy: I have never been but I hear the experience is beyond comprehension. |

I've eaten at Falafel World as I used to live in Bloor West Village. Their product is not even half as good as Sarah's in the Annex. FW's meat is dry and under-seasoned; the tabouleh is bland; and their meals are generally over-priced, especially so when compared to Sarah's. But I made sure to give them their due before concluding this as I went back to try various dishes and sandwiches hoping that they were just having an off day. That was not the case.
On the topic of BWV, for anyone living around there, be sure to get into Dr. Generosity's for breakfast at least once. Excellent food with hangover destroying portions. Just like everything else in Bloor West, it's a bit pricey, but the ridiculous amount and quality of food compensates for that. |
