Questions regarding bpm, flow, etc. are appropriate, but dont bash. no need for that. This is an awesome opportunity. best of luck to all. and thanks for an amazing stage lineup!

Why people is not like you¿?

This thread is hilarious :haha:

If any of you who are bickering are actual trance dj's and are thinking of entering this contest, you might as well withdraw yourself now. These are not the kind of attitudes that Swamper will chose to represent Tranceaddict in Belgium :stongue: :stongue: :stongue:

Seems a great excuse to do the trance mix I've been meaning to put together for a while. Interested.

Some of us are slightly more aggressive in how we go about our business in the scene. You may feel comfortable standing by but others like to speak up from time to time when things they love and spend great deals of time on are being talked down about.

All I want is for the people that don't need to be in here to GTFO. If you don't play trance then why are you even leaving a comment in the thread or involving yourself in the conversation? One would imagine that some people here would love for this opportunity to go away since they can't be involved personally. This is right around the time where once again people need to realize that this is a Trance forum made for Trance fans.

People here have sat by and not cared while many people clutter up the forum (especially the dj booth) with other genres and the way people hate on trance on its own forum is a major lol. People that enjoy trance are usually very friendly people (as well as the fact we obviously enjoy a wide array of genres).

The people that play other genres here are lucky we are open to sharing our forums with you; so why don't you start sharing the respect? It's gone on for way too long. I haven't been here since the early days but I have seen enough to know it's not good for any of the scenes and I'm sick and tired of it. Yes we know you don't like trance. Yes we know you play other genres and yes we may or may not listen to them. So leave us alone for something you obviously want no part of.

Trance may have changed since some of you were kids in the late 90s but it still has a huge following of people and the internet age has allowed many people to find exactly what they like instead of being stuck listening to what is marketed to them. This is a great thing as it has encouraged creativity and while it's not the late 90's we like where things are going!

Music is meant to evolve just like we as people are.

It seems like the people you refer to are the ones that thinks the poppy vocal cocksmokery that aramada spews out is good trance, and if anyone s on it they go defcon 5 and scorched ing earth over it. You fail to realize this forum was built for people who enjoys trance the way it was, not the way it is now. We are the ones sharing this forum with you. off if you can't handle the truth about the abomination that is called trance these days.

Yeah, creativity. This is bull on so many different levels.

Wow. What is this? Did you pull that out of your own ass?

I don't care if this is off topic, that post was just to much.
DianeDesEtoiles
whatever I think everyone has made his/her point, no need to post again useless stuff.

Funny thing is that meanwhile you'll prolly be still arguing here guys, we will be partying like crazy at the tomorrow land on trance, on psytrance, on 90's sounds, on progressive, on minimal or on harder sounds ...

but yeah. Whatever I'll be there :gsmile: :toocool: :gsmile:

Is anyone having a problem with uploading a file?

I hear what your saying, butttt....
Again, why would Swamper chose someone that's trying to get people to stay off this site, than someone who is encouraging people to join it?
Rodri Santos
it's cool to have a lot of people on a forum and from different countries and ideas, but some people all they do is trolling, they do fine, always get someone on their pointless discussion.
Tom Fische
What a topic! I'm loving it :)

Really, this is the discussion always going on about how trance has been getting worse & worse over the years.
I think that's just not true; it has changed, yes.
But if you take some time and look behind Armada, there's Anjunabeats.

Now, the first person who says that isn't trance I think doesn't know what trance is.
To me trance is ANY kind of music that gets me a feeling only trance gives me. You've got progressive, minimal, tech, house, vocal, lifting, a million sorts of trance!

I love em all, the only thing that surprises me is the fact that a always go back to the 138-140 bpm trance that reminds me of the tracks that got me into electronic music.

To me music is my getaway from everything, it gets me of this planet. That's why I love to play trance, and I'd love to win the contest. I am from Belgium, I mostly think I'm one of a kind over here -.- I wish to share the feelings i get when I'm playing with other people. That's a huge motivation of mine, and it keeps me going and going!

Trance isn't a square, it's something that takes the best of all genres and puts it together... If you take the time to search for those tracks...
