Step 3 - Slap yourself with your when you realize you stepped out of your place.
Step 4 - Never come back to this forum because you're an idiot and contribute nothing but troll posts.
The terminology of "banger" is open to interpretation. To me when I say I'm bringing out the bangers it means I am going into the tracks MADE FOR THE CLUB. Festival same thing. You're not gonna play the same you play in radio sets which are made for at home listening. You can play your 8 minute long breakdowns and choral whisps; structure 4 song builds and do everything else prototypically and I will continue to laugh at you as the bane of the industry.
Thirdly; get a clue come up with your own style and stop humping what everyone has done for 15 years. There is a reason trance died and there is a reason it is coming back. The "old guard" is not part of the comeback. This refers to both the dj's; the producers; the style; and the mindset. |
Amen to that. :toocool: |

Fourth I probably have more knowledge here than 90% of the board and between production; dj'ing and mastering I arguably put more time into my music than anyone else on the board (12-16 hrs/day).
I fully intend to win this competition. We will see how you fare my friend. You barked up the wrong tree, now go home and suck on mommas tit.
Further lessons will cost you; PM me for my paypal address:D |
I guess LORD OF BASS bought himself Rosetta Stone. |

Have you listened to any of Sand Leaper's sets or read many of his posts? I'm going to guess no. |

He is a troll for the post he just made; there's no sample of further evidence needed. He was the one who attacked me.
And I have listened to a few of his sets. From recollection he plays older prog; same as you. Get out the past move into the future guys!
To everyone else; sorry for the egocentric sounding tone of that post; that's not who I am. I just work very hard at what I do and took offense to what was said. |

Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean he's a troll. Get a grip and grow some thicker skin.

That doesn't give you the right to start slinging around nor does an apology make it all OK afterwards.
Edit:
And just to clarify, I'm not taking sides here - both of you made equally pointless attacks towards each other. |

Lol oh look who comes in for the support! Surprise surprise.
I clearly understand a apology doesn't change what was said. That's good because I fully stand behind it. The apology was directed at the rest of the people viewing the thread; not to whom it was intended. |

| I'm not supporting anyone, I'm saying stay on topic or off. If you two feel like battling it out do it somewhere else. |

Seeing as you've clearly only listened to my progressive trance retrospective (the only set I've posted on TA that could qualify as "old prog"), voila: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...22der+zyklus%22
That's just one example of me supporting new music, including a mini showcase for the excellent new label Militant Science. Check it out.
Anyway, on topic: I'd still like an answer to my previous question about who the judges for this contest are, and how they will assess the mixes. |
