Last time I heard him at Avalon was already too tribal-house for me, but that one is even more diva-ish / housier.
Not sure I am going anymore. I will decide next week if I am up to it.

I think it's safe to say that an extended set from Lawler at stereo will most probably be fcking mayhem. I wouldn't be worried!

To be honest, doesn't do it for me all that much... I really hope lawler does something interesting in his huge timeslot.

+1. Although Lawler has lost me in recent years, I still believe he has it in him, and I think Stereo is the perfect venue for him to rise to the occasion.
I will be there.

I really hope he brings the drums back :P

yeah, it's consensus on here that no one likes that set, compared to what he used to play.
let's hope that set was just the boring part of a decent set he did that night in Ibiza, as the one thing I notice about Lawler is that he will tend to incorporate dramatic shifts in his sets, from slow and steady to bang it out crazy.
Ibiza is the so-called mecca for these djs but Montreal tends to bring a little something else from these guys, especially if they have a long set to play with. Very much looking forward to it.
I have a set of his that i can only describe as dark, dungeon progressive tribal house :p, just have to figure out how to post it on here. I don't have the date or venue details, I may have changed the title at one point.
