✫Steve Lawler A child of the acid house generation, has been busy with the beats long before genres were but a twinkle in clubland’s eye. An electronic artist who defies generic boundaries, ever since his days organising the infamous motor way raves under the M42 motor way, in the uk.
Dynamic, driven and drastically obsessed with performing as well as he possibly can. Steve’s passion for House, Techno and Electronica is too strong for one simple generic association, and right now his message is louder than ever. 18 years deep and Steve Lawler isn’t just at the top of his game, he’s pushing the boundaries of what a DJ can do – both technically and creatively – as an artist and as a successful label businessman.

It's either going to Lawler, or eating mushrooms and tripping out at a friends' kick ass house while his parents are out of town.. decisions decisions.
Knox
certainly

I keep going back and forth between my memories of what he used to play that I loved, and the sets that I've been hearing lately, many of which have been downright terrible. I want to like him, but it's not an easy call.

I'm very confident that Lawler (as with many dj's doing Stereo) will go darker, dirtier, harder, seeing it is at the Temple.
There! (+5 more at least)(well 6, DarknessBrotha counts as 2 with his trademark dance moves ;) )

Althought Lawler is not 02-05 Lawler, it doesn't mean he won't get down to the itty bitty gritty deep tribal house he used to own us with...I have a strong gut feeling we'll be leaving the temple speechless saturday june 19th ;)
I started digging into my lawler folder and playing my older sets...I know it aint the same time period but these are gems...my 2 fave old-lawler sets are:
Steve Lawler - Deep Tribal House Mix 4 (2002-04-10)

Steve Lawler - Live at Twilo, New York (2002-03)

Yea lawler is not the same definitely, but as a dj this guy is able to take you on an intense trip, whether it be with his old sound or his new, sure the music has changed, but the skill didn't go anywhere, I am sure it won't be just "another set" for him at Stereo... I am sure he will put his soul into it, and we will be able to tell if he will on the other side.
Honestly I am really ing pumped for this, I haven't been this pumped for a dj for a while.
