Except there are whole anti-circumcision organisations that use that kind of hyperbolic language. The first time I discovered circumcision was a controversial subject was when I read an article about it in The Times. The spokesman for this campaign was saying things like "Circumcised men feel abnormal and embarrassed about their penis". Why would you feel weird about the way your penis looks? Look at this way, uncircumcised guys' dicks basically have a hipster scarf on 365 days a year. Do you want that Jack? To have your penis looking like Seth Troxler's road manager? Think about that. |

Name me anything, and I'll find you people who have a problem with it.
You really shouldn't feel weird about it at all. It's nothing to be ashamed of, you said that it feels normal, does the job, not to mention tons of women prefer them cut. I don't see the issue here. |

I'm not ashamed of it. There was a brief spell as a teenager where I was worried about what girls thought about it, but then a girl assured me it wasn't an issue at all and since then I've never felt insecure.
It's just an odd and slightly unpleasant experience when people talk about your body in these terms. I've never met a cut guy who had a problem with his dick. The people campaigning on our behalf never seem to be cut themselves. Often they're women. And the thought that I might never get to feel sex properly is somewhat depressing*.
