Don't educated people know to write "too" instead of "to"? :p |

Today's outrage is acceptable because the spending/debt/overreach/joblessness is exponentially worse than what everyone was bitching about under Bush. |
Yet, most of those issues all began during bush's presidency. sure, im not holding him personally responsible for every facet of the economic crisis or anything, but the US right (the world's far far right) has mobilised against a president for the failures of his predecessor.
one of the contributors to the relative prosperity of bush's tenure was a property bubble ffs.
a fair portion of obama's reckless spending is due to falling tax receipts re the financial crisis combined with communist attempts to stimulate the economy. now, im not saying that these attempts have been great or could not have been spent better etc, but you loonies on the fringe can't complain about spending/debt/unemployment all in the same damn sentence, especially given the context of bush's financial achievements in a much better economy.
like . either you want the government to spend and fill some of the hole left by the private contraction in an effort to keep joblessness down, or you try to cut the debt or deficit by spending nothing and letting unemployment go to . you can't do both.
i know you and the people in the OP live in this fantasy land where cutting taxes will magically fix the economy, and then go on to complain about the size of the debt.
now, the US economy is ed. no one's denying this, and the blame lies all over the place. but people that march to glenn beck on martin luther king day about issues they have no hope of understanding are ing retards.
i don't think these people in the video are representative of americans generally, but yeah they are representative of people who listen to glenn beck. |

you make some good points... most of all that the blame lies all over the place. and it wasn't Bush who's to blame for the property bubble- he had nothing to do with policies forcing banks to open up the birdfeeder for people who had no business getting loans/credit. but that's another discussion altogether. i am also not one who thinks just cutting taxes will lead us to the promised land; it's obviously a lot more complex than that... however, nobody with a literate economic brain could agree that current policies are reasonable or that increased taxation is the way to economic prosperity. |

im not blaming bush for the bubble, but it happened on his watch not obama's. and obama is cleaning up (however poorly, i dont know) the mess. im not saying people should be content, but the tea party and their buddies in the OP are disconnected from reality.
and the CRF wasn't the cause of the property bubble or the financial crisis, but we've done this before :p |

THEY DONT SPEAK FOR THE ING MAINSTREAM THOUGH.
I don't listen to those retards, in fact driving home from Oregon last week I heard Ed Shultz dumbass for the first time, actually it was some other douche sitting in for him. The guy was a moron, totally biased .
The thing is that the majority of people that vote democratic do not subscribe to the radical wings of the party (and its not even the democratic party, its crazy ass green tards).
The problem is your side does subscribe to the radical side, by a majority, and thats dangerous. |

the problem is definitely not being cleaned up over here... it's getting worse. residential construction is at it's lowest point since last year (which was a new low point then), home sales are down 32% from last year with prices lower than last year, mortgage delinquencies rose in July for the first time since last year, auto sales are at a 28 year low, and so on. the homebuyer tax credit gimmick didn't do either. we need more buyers in the market, period... and that's not gonna happen with unemployment like this. |

that's correct. they speak for the fringe elements who unfortunately have the power in Washington right now. "centrist" democrats (who are more rare than unicorns these days) bow down to Obama/Reid/Peliso's radical agenda, or have their testicles collectively lopped off. |
