was supposed to do wedding stuff with one of my good friends today but the thing she wanted to get done this afternoon isn't happening now so i don't feel like a bad friend for wanting to watch tennis.

but now there's a rain delay. Strange I was an hour away and the weather was fine not a drop of rain. can't image the sponsors are happy are they even going to air it on CBS?
LAdazeNYnights
where are you that's an hour away?
i live like 45 min from the city and as the first set was getting underway i heard a good amount of thunder, saw a little lightning, and watched the rain fall up until about the 2nd game of the 2nd set.

America stop stealing sports and invent your own.

Preferably not another Ultimate Wipeout or eat the Hot Dog game.

That's not a sport you fat, lard-arsed s.

.
chimera66
none of the players playing are american so what are you getting at exactly?
LAdazeNYnights
he's an idiot.
this looks like it may turn out to be one helluva match

this is very exciting :)

thank god there was another rain delay so i can watch this at home. :p i had no access to my computer this afternoon.

nadal looks to be dictating play at the moment.

LeopoldStotch
congrats to nadal for winning. djokovic gave it his all, but nadal was too much to handle.
LAdazeNYnights
haha yeah that's got to be so disheartening - to play every single point with such tenacity, game after game, hearing the crowd cheer for your every winner / every saved break point...and still lose handily in the last set.
