| guess it's only the top 10 seeds that get preferred coverage. beyond that they'll switch top any american and then the top female matches i guess. oh well. i don't really like james blake- could do without this match on the tv right now haha |

yeah, no one really thought we'd do so well too, turkey surprises me aswell, i think spain will bounce back.
team US got so damn lucky, got angola in 1/8finals and then (probably) russia in 1/4finals:[ bastards should've met spain in the 1/4finals
we got china in 1/8finals which we should beat, but then the winner of brazil/argentina will be waiting in the 1/4finals, and both of them are damn good:[ (with brazil having a slight edge imo)
anyway, back to tennis |

the top half bracket looks very difficult with spain and greece facing each other in 1/16, austrailia(another surprise, but patty mills has been outstanding), and turkey-france in 1/16.
bottom half looks just as challenging, but not enough.
back to tennis talk. blake looks like he has control of this match. |

| was watching this in the ballpersons lounge before i went out to finish the djokovic match. too bad the video taker stopped it short and decided to focus on the 3 people sitting around him for the final 15 seconds. i think the younger guy shot the bird at people in his section as he left. |

wow. i remember when they stopped the match for that last night...didn't show the fight on tv really though. that guys commentary is fantastic. "don't worry bro! i got it all on video i got you man!!" "securriitttyyy!!!"
anyway - i had expressed to my mom that i was interested in going...wanted to go monday. i was in class this morning, she keeps trying to call me from her office. i get out and call her back
"john (her fiance) got tickets for the 3 of us to go to the open on sunday."
-"day or night"
"day, we should be there by 11! he's trying to get night tickets too"

i really want to go, and i can't get out of this so it looks like i'm going sunday....all day saturday i'm gonna be at electric zoo and then at after parties and a friends until wayyy late, doing all kinds of bad things. i was planning on sleeping til at least 5. this will be very interesting. |
