| gasquet was just in another level today. he literally destroyed davydenko. looks to be a good favorite to reach the quarters. |

| What's wrong with Andy? He came so close that one time at Wimbledon, looking like he finally developed a more well rounded consistent game. But he has looked bad of late and now this on his best surface. Pulling a Serena and taking it out on the line judge. |

| i think patrick mcenroe said it best this morning when he said roddick's loss to federer last year @ wimbledon was just an overall emotional breakdown. he can't get over himself losing that match, and it's affecting his play right now. |

| I'm reading that Berankis is really battling Melzer, is that truth? I can't see the match, anyone following? |

yeah i'm checking out the melzer match via my laptop - just using usopen.org's "ibm slam tracker" haha.
i do'nt know why they won't show it on the tv. stupid. i'd much rather watch that match right now than women's highlights. i mean come on - it's in the 5th set and the 13th seeded player is losing.
he was broken the first game of the 5th set - and is down 3-2 now, bernakis is serving.
james blake is freaking out at the umpire. again, i don't want to see the 2nd set of this match while blake breaks down and goes down 4-0. put the f'n melzer match on....
//edit - he was up 3-0 actually. so not exactly breaking down. my bad. |

damn that was f'n hilarious. blake was verbally berating him and questioning his decision on balls.
it's the same umpire who called the roddick match. wow. :stongue:
that's great |

of course the whole country is now focused on world basketball championship in turkey, bball is our religion.
but everybody's also following berankis and hoping for him to pull this upset |

well melzer just broke to bring it to 4-4!
(i really want to see melzer win. i have tickets to see the potential round 4 melzer-federer match)
//edit - also, as for lithuanian basketball..i'm familiar only with ilgauskis |
|

| bananas |
ilgauskAs:P we have many more great players.
anyway, berankis is probably getting tired:[ still i think it's safe to say even if he loses this one he did good at the tournament |
|

anyways ...
good luck to lithuania basketball. they're performing very well so far. i am shocked they're 5-0 and spain is 3-2 after group play.
the tension between the balkan countries has been quite entertaining so far.
i am pleasantly surprised with host country turkey's performance so far. |
