got to say. i am fairly impressed in stouser's improved game.

I've never seen her play before so I can't comment on her progress. Based on what I'm seeing its more about Clijster handing Stosur the match. Poor level of tennis all around. I've never seen Clijsters make so many unforced errors, double faults, broken services. She is the defending champion but I cut her slack because she's a mom with a kid.

dennis ferrer is so much better than you.

ferrer-verdasco pushing a whooping 4 hours.

oh snap fernando has got this! match point was a thing of damn beauty!
LeopoldStotch
great match. verdasco really fought hard for that win. i don't know which loss hurts more? ferrer or sam querry ?

i don't know if nadal can pass both lopez and verdasco back to back. that is a tough gauntlet to go through.
chimera66
ugh tonight looks like it'll be easier than we initially expected. rafa is hitting the ball really well and feliciano can maybe win a set but i'm somewhat doubtful now.

nadal looks to be in control. lopez has looked all right at most points, but nadal like a savvy champion took advantage of lopez's mistakes

fun times working the nadal match tonight.

dementieva was pretty nice, but during the tiebreak she seemed to be having a mental meltdown. we have a certain way of working the tiebreaks that makes things go faster, but elena kept wondering why the receiving side had tennis balls and wanted to hit anything that the backs had, except they were refusing as part of the tiebreak procedure.

i was at arthur ashe yesterday... it was cool to see a full 5 setter and venus the penus in action!

chimera66
venus isn't pretty but she's doesn't look like a man

i like little chibulkova, hope to see her do well in the coming years. the announcers said the average height of the women is 5'11" that seems a bit tall but good to see a small woman hang in there.

now for soderling vs federer :happy2:

oh and that monfils vs djokovic match was crap, gael didn't play well at all.
