Id say its borderline. He doesn't jump into him, he just kinda pops up once the contact is made which makes it seem like charging. If the refs would have called it I wouldn't have disagreed either.

agreed. And if they start calling the majority of these hits as charging then the league becomes pussified indeed.

the league became pussified with the instigator penalty.....its been downhill ever since. The league is slowing taking checking out of the game.

you have the announcer crying head shot, but hits like this are part of hockey and should not be removed from it. The big hit can be more exciting than the goal. This ain't ringette.
