Actually I did take it up with my bank and they refunded me the overdraft fee. Apparently they've been having a lot of these problems with a lot of customers. There's something inherently wrong in the system when banks will deposit checks before the date on the check. |
you are lucky, i'm surprised they did that. you probably don't need to pay by the 1st, typically in the lease they list a small grace period 1st - 4th so just make sure it gets there on the 2nd or something. |

Yeah, like I said, I think they were dealing with some issues with the system. Like, it's supposed to be delivered by September 1, but got there on August 29th and it was cashed. So the combination of check date and deliver-by date has been getting Bank of America in trouble, I think. At least that's what this manager that I spoke with alluded to. |

It comes out of my housemate's account, and I give her the cash in hand to put into her account. Pretty simple. |
