Guys, I make plenty of money, and I had plenty of money in other accounts that werent my checking account, but the way I budgeted did NOT allow my landlord to get his money two days early. That's the story here.

interest rates are so low it doesn't make sense shuffling your money around to earn that 1%. All it takes is one bounced check to put you in the hole (and damage your credit history). Not worth the worry to gain a handful of dollars at the end of the year.

It still seems just a tad shortsighted to not keep a surplus of cash in the account if you know a recurring amount/fee is going to be withdrawn from it every month.

It's not her fault how was she supposed to know she was going to have rent that month some people dont know they have to pay rent and most people have rent that is just way too high for them to afford they cant help it its not their fault so dont pretend to know them omg you guys are so mean.

also, overalls.

my property manager almost always deposits the rent checks for my land on the 7th or 8th of every month. very reliable. if it weren't for the constant fear of something horribly going wrong, i like being a landlord :gsmile:

funny about the check thing; i pay my mortgage(s) online. but my renters pay me property manager by check, who then deposits it to my checking account. in which, then i use that depoisted money towards the mortgage payment. easy for me; stupid for them. lol

i honestly can't remember the last time i wrote a check. maybe for my utility bills, since i didn't think this town accepted credit/debit. turns out , they do!

Did beats and beeps actually post in this thread?
