Um... she probably works hard, but like many Americans, doesn't make a whole lot more than her living costs. Over 44 million Americans live below the poverty line, which means they don't have anything extra to put away.

Besides, how much she makes or how she balances her cash flow is none of our business. You have no right to pass judgment on her when you have absolutely no idea about her personal financial situation.

I at one point lived pay cheque to pay cheque. After my rent, bus pass, food, and other necessities, I would literally have $20 bucks left to my name. So long as I didn't get sick or need to buy new shoes etc., I would be ok. But it wasn't very often that this didn't happen. There was nothing I could have done to save money (unless I starved myself or sacrificed my health in some way). It was a matter of circumstance - I had a low paying job but lived in a high cost environment.

You're a douche nozzle. The reality is, some people aren't fortunate enough to make enough money to do this. There is an overwhelming number of people who live pay cheque to pay cheque, and for a large portion of them, it isn't their fault. So shut your trap.

Why are you renting a house and not buying one?

We need the space, since we run a business. Consequently, to buy a house anywhere with enough space and somewhere local enough to keep running the business would be expensive in Brisbane.

On top of that, business has been pretty ing random over the last couple of years, for obvious reasons, so jumping into a huge amount of debt hasn't been at the top of my list of things to do :p

I know that the first thing that I usually do when I don't want others to talk about my personal business is make a thread about it.

Your level of stupidity is impressive even for an inbred.

Guys, I make plenty of money, and I had plenty of money in other accounts that werent my checking account, but the way I budgeted did NOT allow my landlord to get his money two days early. That's the story here.
