Also, I'd say that a lot of the reason for this is because of socially accepted health behaviours for the genders. Sort of like how you see higher incidences of risk taking behaviours among men, because it's more "manly" to do so. |

Possibly so.
But that would beg us to explain why "New Age" stuff is more socially accepted for women in the first place. Why does it have a "feminine" image (if it indeed has one)? |
