I found your mother's hips to be quite roomy.

At my 8th birthday party my mom broke out her books and started telling all my friends about the difference between the left brain and the right brain, and went on and on about psychic vibrations and all kinds of other insane . Lol. Every year after that my friends would ask "Your mom's not gonna talk about the brain again is she?" And I never had my birthday at my mom's again. The End.

I feel a bit left out, too, Banora. My mom has never been into anything wacky.

Always seems to be moms who are into all kinds of New Age hippie silliness. Anyone hear of a dad like that before? Or is crystal healing and such particularly attractive to women for some reason?

:wtf:

Also, I'd say that a lot of the reason for this is because of socially accepted health behaviours for the genders. Sort of like how you see higher incidences of risk taking behaviours among men, because it's more "manly" to do so.

I knew some people who were into Wicca in high school. Seems like something that most grow out of soon before they exit their teens.

:p

Possibly so.

But that would beg us to explain why "New Age" stuff is more socially accepted for women in the first place. Why does it have a "feminine" image (if it indeed has one)?

My friend's sister is a high priestess out West. When she gets her period she goes out to a "moon lodge" in the woods and bleeds into the Earth. :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:
