trance for novice listeners; house and techno for the more experienced?

| not here for sure, people here know a lot about house but nothing about techno or trance, techno a bit more but 90% of people couldn't list 5 trance djs. |

First I started listening house in the 80's, then techno and house, then trance, techno and house.
So it's not how I feel, but maybe that's due to my age. |

Honestly, the sooner people start just enjoying what they want to, regardless of genre and stop beying to the masses of media or people saying something is for better listeners, the better for mankind. |

Some people love it and will always smoke pot and never try anything else, others think it sucks and never try any drug again. interesting. you truly are a wordsmith. I see why trance is always homebase for edm but really people strikeout for lack of knowledge. house and techno are like base hits.

| Trance is really more like huffing glue or some other inhalant where-as house has the slightly more sophisticated appeal of mixing non-narcotic prescription muscle relaxers with Colt .45 and an indulgent cocktail of over-the-counter cold medications. Neither is or should even be thought of as a gateway. Really, depending on how far down you've gone, already, they're more of a last resort aimed at taking the edge off of not being able to get high, properly. |
