im positive that it has ALOT to say. luckily my genelecs have isolators/pads included :D

A 27" i7 iMac should be finding it's way to me by the end of January, hopefully.

Went to place an order today (since L+M don't have em yet) but decided to grab the Fireface UC instead. Everything everyone said about the RME Usb interfaces and drivers was right. They work great and wow low latency). I expect the Babyface will run the same as the UC.

well my GAS has been well and truely sated in the last month or 2! My studio partner has gone a bit crazy and purchased the following...

SSL X mix summing mixer - 16 channels of analog summing... sounds ace! also includes talkback and dual monitors so has solved our monitoring issues - we did have a passive volume control but after a few months started to crackle, forget the make, will repost later if in remember as its lame!

Manley Vari mu limiter/comp
4 channels of API pre-amps
2 x SSL Channels
Lynx Aurora AD conversion
Universal Audio 1176 stereo comp
2 langevin pultec EQs

and an awesome leather chair :)

anyone who wants to can fire across some tracks that need a bit of polish I can run through this fine selection of gear and see what i can do with it. 1st 2 people to reply to this get it free of charge :)

yep, fire an unmastered track over via sendspace or something and i'll play with it this weekend :) try and ensure theres plenty of headroom so i can take full advantage of some parallel compression as well :)

Well I jusr bought another monitor.

I imagine 4 22 inch wide screens flipped vertical . 2 for each mac pro using synergy to share mouse and keyboard. I feel like i'm in a space ship. Its awesome. All the same model too so everything matches which is just as important.

1.5 metres by 0.5 metres each screen at 1050 X 1680

Basically a 62' high definition widescreen lcd monitor. THey also HP so quite sexy as well.

I prefer having mpre screens than one larger one so you can keep certain apps on certain screens and not have to keep repositioning them.

lol watch your eyes richie, they might be scorched! ive worked with big multiple screens at work a few times and it always feels like ive been in the sun all day afterwards. wear sunglasses! like you really were in a space ship (suns extremely dangerous in space you know).
