Does anybody know what happened to him for sure? He was supposed to be playing in Rochester on Saturday but never showed up. I spoke to the promoter of the night and all he said was that Deko-ze was detained at the border and is now not allowed into the US for the next 5 years.
I have no idea if that's true, but does anybody know what really went down? |

Thanks for the complete lack of information. If it wasn't a big deal then why didn't he show up to an event that people paid money to go to? |

You asked the promoter, and got an answer. Was it necessary to post a thread about it too? Why don't you just email Deko-Ze directly, I'm sure you can do that through his website or facebook page.
DJs have border issues all the time. As far as I can tell this thread is just an excuse to (spread) gossip. |

A promoter could have a number of reasons to make something like that up. Rochester rarely ever gets any notable EDM artists to play here, so when an event like this is advertised so widely for so long, it's a pretty big disappointment when one of the two non-local and well known artists just don't show up.
Besides, when you're in the public eye like Deko-ze is, and you miss a show, I'd think you would be expected to give a reason.
As far as I can tell, the purpose of the thread was to find the real reason why he didn't show up, not to spread gossip, so off. |

well said...stop littering with bullcrap.just go straight to the source if you are looking for an explanation for your ego/refund/business...whatever the main reason you are feeling about. |

Look dude. As was said before, DJs often times have problems crossing the border because the laws are tight and retarded...
