All of you Canadians are pathetic. *Insert random insult at Americans here* OMG LOL!!! I've made a couple pretty good friends in my trips up to Toronto, and have never had any problems with anyone in Canada, and they had never had any problems with Americans in any way.
Just remember, when you try to be so funny by insulting Americans on an online forum, you look like a complete moronic and intolerant .
For every "American " you come across there are 50 who are perfectly normal, just like you Canadians.
Get off your high horse before you judge an entire country based on a bunch of dated and ignorant stereotypes. |

No I don't, and that's my point. These people generalize an entire country based on people from very specific cities or regions. To be honest, I've seen WAY more douchebags going to the Guvernment in Toronto then I EVER do anywhere near where I live.
It's all relevant, which is why I don't go around saying "OMG everyone in Canada is such a douche bag because I saw a few douche bags in Canada once!"

I'm just saying that if you watch Jersey Shore and think "Wow, they are huge d-bags, and they're Americans....so ALL Americans must be like that!"
There are stereotypes that are true, and there are stereotypes that are not. In this case, generalizing all Americans as ignorant s is just plain inaccurate.
Also, I hope you were being sarcastic about Rochester. There's like 2 bad areas but other than that I believe it was rated one of the top 10 cities to raise a family in in America. |
