Well I guess bags it is then!

Yea, i've taken a small backpack the last 3 yrs w/out a problem. They always say no backpacks but at the door its a completely different story :).
MdTechno
ok what I am going to do after getting advice from someone. compact the bag and put it in your pocket or in a small clear bag and carry the other stuff in a clear bag, then when u get in there get your bag out and place everything inside it and then wear it :)

My biggest thing is that they expect everyone to carry around their ticket like it's a gold medal around the neck. Absolutely no way. Everyone is going to have a bag, at least the people who value going to the second and third days.

honestly, i think it opens ultra up to a slew of lawsuits. What happens if there is a rash of muggings and thefts of the pass right off peoples necks.

I have actually heard of this happening to people in clubs with VIP bracelets, what happens if people standing outside Ultra get the bright idea to do this to people leaving Friday night. There is going to be so many people leaving at once there is no way it could be policed.

It will be able to be tracked if it is reported but only if the person that had it stolen was the original owner of it and it wasnt a resale.

I honestly don't think there is going to be some gang ripping these things off peoples neck. Also, one way to avoid that is don't wear it around your neck? I never planned to.

I never did either, but just the statement they made (along with the addition of a lanyard) was implying it. :)

I did not think ultra was implying it, I was suggesting it could happen just because people do have their VIP wristbands stolen in a similar matter (you might not have heard of this happening but it happens). That many people, it is going to happen to someone. A lot of people will not be in a state of mind to put up much of a fight.

Honestly, i do not think it will be a widespread problem. I just think it will happen........... will we hear about it here, i doubt it.

So it appears by looking at this picture, and if you understand the new lay out map that the Ultra mainstage has been moved to the side of the AAA (You can see it behind the stage)

The opposite side of the venue.

Yea, u didnt see the map? Look at the pic, the entrance is where all those parallel lines are so you enter and the main stage is to the right instead of the left :).
MdTechno
I was going to wear the thing they gave up but with my ticket under my shirt. Either that or in my bag. Its too big for my pockets and I dont want to fold it.
