I know most of you go for the DJs as opposed to me going for the bands, but looking at The Coachella lineup i'm hoping Ultra adds The Presets, Robyn, Kele (from Bloc Party who had to cancel 2 years ago), Delphic and who knows, maybe Death From Above can play. That would be insane. MSTRKRFT is already playing...
|
Delphic would be amazing! I asked them via twitter but didn't get a response.
I'm excited for Klaxons. I'm also surprised M83 haven't done ultra. They to would be amazing |

I need some insights on here from the local Miami folks on here. I am thinking of renting an apart (3beds?) near the event, downtown, beach, so dont need to do car rental, worst case is taking a cab. Any ideas if it makes sense financially to rent an apt vs hotels. five of us are going. I like the idea of renting a place and just hang out,etc without the hassle of being in at a hotel.
Any sites for such deal for apt or hotels besides Kayak? What's the ideal location to stay near by? TIA |

I am not a local but someone posted this link and I saved it.

Rented a condo / apt. is smart thinking if you have the higher number of people to spread the funds out.
for me hotels are much easier since I am usually just solo and have 1 more person. |

this year and last year, i rented an appartment at the flamingo appartments. i would take the flamingo appartments over a hotel any day, the appartments are excellent, spacious, amazing view, full of clubbers and very close to the action. those were the 2 websites i used.
www.rentflamingo.com
www.miamisimplemanagement.com
you will love the flamingo i am sure |

Indeed. We rented a house for 10 people from SoBe and the total came less than $500 per person for the entire week (monday to monday). I think it was through vacationrentals.com but homeaway.com has pretty much the same listings. |
