I just looked at my statuses over the last few months and they, too, are mostly about how awesome I am.
This is my favourite one from August 27th:
"You know you're in New York when ... you're running with a latte in hand to make the Ferry to Manhattan, only to get interrogated by a hot NYPD, cursed out by a homeless person, and trip down the steps to the subway to catch the last two $60 tickets for Jersey Boys for Saturday night ¢¾"

I was really fat in high school but I had a lot of friends because I used to be funny. I was the funny fat girl and had the best grades (except in physics).
Last week I ran into a guy from high school who used to make fun of me for being fat. I didn't recognize him because he's a fat tank now and I'm not :toocool: |

I have to admit I sort of miss the drama. All those highs and lows, that vivid roller coaster of emotions. The way people were relentless about jostling, competing, testing each other. Not yet initiated into the subtler, polite ways of full adulthood. Always some breaking news happening with somebody.
Life seems so slow and sedate anymore.
*sigh*
