My mom isn't deaf. She did loose some hearing after the brain tumor though. Infact I'm producing her next CD with her. She plays the piano sorta new age. We will release that version, then I'm going to make a version of the tracks with ambient noises, then a more film score style for the 3rd version of the tracks.

Because making classical music is so much easier. :rolleyes:
Making music is like setting enough low-velocity explosive to shatter a house with over-pressure. Lot's of people go the high-velocity route, thinking it has more power, but that explosion just isn't sustained enough and you have to wind up using more. Less really is more.
And regarding Nathan's music, it is really a whole lot more. |

| The music seems to need a good amount of production. Seems like you don't spend enough time developing your tracks. Some of the stuff you are pushing is out their in terms of what is accepted. |

If you spent less time on this homemade self induced ego you created and more time focused on the music, your work could be better. I re-listened to the first track a couple more times. I even had a few of my friends listen to it. The track is nothing more than a sampled beat. Looped for eight minutes. To me it is the ground work of track that's not finished. It's monotone with no spark. It needs life. Also fix the timing. Hopefully your friend can fix all this.
On another note. If you don't like the comments then don't ask for one. Take the criticism and the pointers and make your tracks better. If you're in search of a Strawberry Shortcake feel good response, you won't get one. It's called tough love. Someone stated earlier, there are a lot of big time producers, remixers, and artists who read and post on this board who don't use their artist(s) name. You should be mindful of that. Also stop riding your mom's success and find your own.
And quit with the threats. It makes you out to be a bigger then you already are and your not frightening anyone. |
