It's been about 20 days. I've worked nonstop 20 hours a day roughly on music and learning more about mixing and mastering.
I'd appreciate feedback...

1st one is in your face, 2nd is more relaxed trance, and last one is space age trance yo.

I guess 1 person like trance that isn't 2004 trance.... You people here seriously need to have a reality check. Nobody plays melodic trance no more man. Ok wait I guess you are the people that keep people like Above and Beyond still in business, because everyone else doesn't write that anymore dog.

Sinnica Hax
Is it just me or is the third tracks beats out of phase like madness? I guess the metronome needs a realitycheck aswell because it seems like it has the day off :sadgreen:

Anyway, best of luck to you and keep it up!

Oh, we're pretty good about reality checks, around here.

Did you recently get out of prison for a sentence you started in 1998?

The first track was bad, it was incredibly boring and wasn't much more than a continuous loop of exactly the same thing for what felt like 37 hours. The random vocal stuff sounded incredibly random.

The second track is a percussion loop and not much beyond that.

The third track was better than most stand up comedies and that's not what you should be going for.

Nevermind - I think Richard nailed it below.

I think his post in my thread is necessary to be in here as feedback to himself and enlightenment to all others! Cheers!

Honestly I can't wait for the style of trance you compose to die forever. So feminine and just generally pansy, it's just so repulsive. Proof in the pudding is Trance in the last position at Beatport and Progressive House consuming Trance.

Nobody wants to hear 2005 trance. All the trance from 2004-2008 generally sucked. The kind of melodic trance you are writing was and is the downfall of Trance period. Harder trance is what survives, which actually has real break downs like house music or techno does, not some little girl display of her barbie doll collection. Go listen to classical music for a couple months; nothing on this earth sounds whimper then that style of melodic trance left the scene long, long ago.

Armin wouldn't be caught dead playing that style of trance. You literally are writing in my opinion the worst electronic music ever conceived; ever. Any form of electronic music, anything is better then sissified melodic trance from ~2004-2008. the specific style you are writing is more like 2003; buddy it's 2011.

Third one sounds like Bobby West Virginia, you must have had a goodtime working on it.
