I left you feedback on the SC player. My comments there are pretty straightforward. I was going to sugarcoat them for you because it's obvious that you don't take criticism very well and have some very serious security issues (e.g., threatening other members via PM). But, I won't sugarcoat it for you here: it's terrible. Work on your music skills and learn to listen to what you're creating. Lose the attitude. Quit making grandiose claims about your talent, experience, and IQ because most of us are pretty highly educated here and, well, you ain't foolin nobody, fool.
A little (OK, a LOT of) humility will go a long way toward getting some help from the very knowledgeable and talented people on this forum and, trust me, you need it. Consider that your pep talk, the rest is up to you.
Oh, and yeah, I'll be expecting your retaliatory remarks on my songs. :) |

I don't think it's a messiah complex, EZ. I think it's pretty obvious that this is just yet another case of good old fashioned crappy self-esteem and need for attention. He's just overcompensating for his lack of abilities and knowledge by putting up this front, which has become all too common on internet forums due to the anonymity that it provides. We see it on forums every day and it never gets any less pathetic. Some people really just need to get themselves a puppy. Studies have shown that the love and attention that they provide work wonders on many people's self esteem and social skills. |

What you're describing about him, a good deal more charitably than I, is the most honesty he's capable of. His mother over-indulged or punished the lad so severely that he simply lacks the self-awareness requisite for an honest appraisal of himself. What he does perceive as a defect is quickly compensated for with the exaggeration of a 'good' quality or even an outright lie.
Given his rather strident defense of his mother, I'm guessing she cracked his nuts for the better part of his child-hood. That would explain the need to have cultivated a world so full of rich, self-serving (or rather severing), delusion. |

Turn the volume almost right down and then listen to your track again. Mixing-wise what stands out the most is the kick, which is too loud in the mix. Everything else will need to be turned up and mixed better, as well as all the timing fixed as there's just too much that sounds off. |

He mixes to 0db with an RMS of -5. His IQ is over 165 and his promiscuous, abusive mother was painstaking in his music eduction. And after all of that, you still dare to offer this critique which seems to completely defy a proper understanding of his clearly stated ability. What's more is that it seems to echo what so many others have already said. I wonder how that happened.

Yah I don't have a lot in common with you folks. Yah my ego is HUGE. Why? I grew up in one of the richest area's in the entire USA. I went to the one of the best high schools in the entire nation. I grew up in the upper elite of civilized establishments globally. My genetic code is superior to most humans.
I make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year in sales, easily. I trade penny stocks and make load of cash. I have a hot girlfriend. I have it all.
Honestly if I wanted I could pay for professionals to show me all the tricks, or to even compose songs with me. But I do it the old fashion way. I might be stubborn and even rude, untamed, but I make my way in this goddamn world and no one stops me from my achievements.
It will take time, I still have much to learn. But I will succeed. Now perhaps you understand why my ego is larger then life. That is all I really have to say. On the same token with your comments, I partially disagree. Especially comments about fixing "timing" issues. I purposely made microscopic differences in timing, to make a unique song (track 2). While perhaps you cannot appreciate this, just like no one appreciated the mix of house and trance music as it is today (progressive house), someday you fools will appreciate this as music progresses in this direction.
I can and read the future with accuracy and my true power extends to telepathy. Thank you for the comments, but when you call me a fool I only grow more sympathetic to your weaknesses as sheep whom follow the leader. Someday I will lead and you will follow me. If not in music, in spirit. To those of you whom are US citizens I will show my ultimate resolve in later years.
And if any of you care to continue to disrespect my mother from this point on, I might seriously consider taking hostile, real life action against you. You think it is that difficult to obtain your IP address and then acquire your address from your ISP? I don't think so. You think it's just the internet, but when someone comes to your door with a baseball bat it isn't just the damn internet ok. You were warned. |
