People see this as a successful way of getting what they want now. I predict many people in many countries will begin protests to get their government to do what they want. I would definitely say one has something to do with the other. The causes may be different but the actions to get a result are going to be basically the same. |

| Things are getting ugly over there very fast. I just hope that the people don’t let go this time and fight with all they have. The regime now knows that they could easily end up like Egypt. What is scary is that the so call Police over there are not afraid to use live ammunitions on the protesters.:( |

and this is what concerns me....how many people will have to give their lives for the cause. Sometimes the price is too big to pay. |

Yes but being a martyr is a huge deal for them so it's probably a price that a lot of them are willing to pay... |

During the Iran/Iraq war in the 80s I think the Iranian's weren't afraid to literally RUN straight into minefields...
All the best to them and anyone going for freedom. |

this Martyrdom you're talking about is something that stems from the radical Religious beliefs
The cause is absolutely different, it's not about that, it's about tryin' to step away from all that garbage..basic human rights, jobs, freedom of speech, Women rights, freedom of political ideas,,,the list goes o and on. |

Yea I know that it stems from religious belief but with this thing in Egypt, they were calling the protestors that died martyrs...
These days, when you die for whatever cause, you're a martyr for that cause... |
