Yeah, but the overwhelming majority of those in Egypt and Iran are rebelling out of political convictions, not religious ones. Regardless, they DO NOT want to be killed for their political/religious views. That's why, based on the definition, martyrdom should not always be viewed as a derogatory term. Not every martyr is an Al Qaeda suicide bomber who actually WANTS to be killed. We respect and honour soldiers who were willing to sacrifice their lives for freedom in WW2. They are also martyrs. Anyway, are you telling me all those female martyrs who have died in places like Egypt and Iran were lesbians who were more gullible that you about the whole female virgin thing, or does the Quran offer male virgins instead? ;)
