libya ranks 18th where saudi currently produces over 6 tims libya in bbl per day. Shouldn't be too hard at all for saudi to overproduce till this thing blows over.
I'm fairly confident that its too soon to see oil prices stagnant or above 100$ you can see this in the forward months of the future contracts in backwardation (meaning that future prices are cheaper then current prices) with the brent. WTI is still in contango (forward contracts higher) due to the brent to wti spread.
fudnamentals don't support it.

I know that :) I am just dreading the day that the US currency is not the currency of choice for petrol dollars.
What is ed up, you combine India, China, Japan and Russia. Those four countries combine use the same amount as the US and those four combined have a huge ass population. Its insane how much the US needs for such a small population.

its true i agree, but the US does very well holding its own
-a bit less than 50% of US storage is its own, the other half imports
-canada's exports to the US equals more than half of US imports from all opec countries
-more than half of US imports are from the western hemisphere

Dozens Killed at Camp Ashrab Clash
Iraqi forces attack Mojahedin Khalgh base
CNN: Iranian exiles in Iraq said Friday that Iraqi security forces invaded their refugee camp and killed at least 31 people. Hundreds more were injured in the assault at Camp Ashraf, the People's Mujahedeen of Iran said. Iraqi army officials in Diyala province confirmed there was a conflict overnight but said they did not use live ammunition. The officials said Ashraf residents armed with shovels and throwing stones approached longstanding Iraqi positions around the camp and provoked the conflict. Ashraf residents and their supporters are calling the event a "massacre." >>>

Something like this was bound to happen. The Mujahidin?s were mainly supported by Saddam and the current regime in Iraq has wanted to get rid of this group for some time now.
I do not support this group and never did. They have killed many innocent Iranians inside Iran and they have been labeled as a terrorist?s organization by the US government. It is interesting because just a few days ago they apparently have supplied some new details on Iran?s nuclear program to the white house.

no support from me either..but killing people this way is just plain wrong.
