Politics don't play a big part in it anymore , It's for the simple freedoms, the more basic human reasons that they go out there these days in Iran after 32 years of being under the rule of these Islamic fanatics |
I agree, fella! Those simple freedoms form the cornerstone of their political convictions. The mechanism through which they will achieve their goals is through changing the political system. i.e establishing a democracy rather than theocracy. |

What DO the women get anyways? I have always wondered this.......:conf: |
I guess they don't get any action...the blokes are too interested in the nubile virgins! In that case, maybe there are lesbians in heaven, as those who are not virgins are forced to play with each other, haha. |

I love the Iranian government, they are blaming Israel for starting the protests / supporting the protests in Iran :haha: Is that the only thing these idiots can come up with, blame Israel?
Iran please go back to your old ways of having fun, pre-revolution style. |

I'm not too fond of Mahmoud or the Iranian government as a whole, but I think that Ahmadinejad's quotes were taken out of context. My knowledge of this matter is based on what I've read so far, so feel free to post the article that you've read. It seems that he was talking about 'controlled' developmental segregation bw Muslim nations and the US / Israel. He also brought up how US and / or Israeli involvement in these countries leads to unfavourable consequences, which is true for the most part. Unless its a case like American involvement in certain oil rich Gulf countries where they've helped with modernizing certain markets, while hustling their oil..
Lol just realised he has 'jad' in his name :p
A little off topic.. who the f is the US to support the Iranian uprising on the basis of 'universal democratic principles'. They've barely had any involvement with the country for decades, and I'm sure they don't give a rat's ass about Iranians' rights and dignity. I jsut find it offensive that they've been preaching their so-called values onto the ME as an attempt to clear up their rotten international image. |

I am with you on that one  It will take a lot for America to regain its images abroad, but that wont really happen, until someone or something changes their foreign policy.
I wish everyone protesting in Iran all the best and if and when you get your hands on your leaders, please do a noble thing and pie them :D Make them look like the clowns that they really are ;) |
