no surprise whatsoever and this is a great thing actually! maybe the guv will finally wake up and stop being so complacent with their all access lineups as theyve been for a while now and actually put some effort into the DJ bookings for these events as they once did years ago. time will tell.

Tiesto went..

And the key word in th op is packed. The lineup outside at midnight was around to the drink door...

One thing I've noticed is that the kids these days are all about the 80's...

Where do they get this from? I'm not complaining. Its better than them being dressed like little whores...

All in all, I heard one dubstep track, the rest of the tunage was fun, and Manzone and Strong played a KILLER set...

It was a good party...

sarcasm!?

the place was rammed to the . Typical big event crowd. The guvernment room was about 8C hotter than every other room and of course the most rammed. Really sucked since I couldnt enjoy axwell's set as much as I hoped because a lot of douches. Even at 4:30 when I left it was still packed, the gino z103 crowd has gained more endurance past last call :nervous: . All the other rooms had enough room to enjoy the night though.

I'd go for Axwell but price isn't worth it for 1 guy and I still have nightmares of the heat/packed crowd in guv for him at labour of love... I'd imagine the same thing but with a younger/pushier crowd.

This event won't be empty just because the TA crowd isn't into the lineup. It's aimed at the younger more commercial crowd imo and it'll be packed with them, the ticket prices wouldnt be where they are if that wasn't the case.

little tough to tell if someone is being sarcastic through an online post without some sort of differentiation.

So I got there at around 10:30. Stayed in the KH and M&S was killing it. What a great track selection and opener! Then the night started to get fuzzy - I remember listening to Calvin Harris, and he decided to throw a dubstep track on. I wanted to shoot myself in the head.

Tiga came on late which made me , he should have just stole Harris' spot and played until 3 when Boys Noize came on. I've always loved him and the label... he played the usual certified party tracks (mind dimension, raven+shoes, hey today!'s remix of you gonna want me, etc) with some very banging techno. What I didn't hear that night was the new Gesaffelstein track, Hatred. Or much Gesaffelstein in general, I was a sad panda :(

But regardless, Tiga was on fire, and then I had the pleasure of listening to Boys Noize. I much preferred staying in the KH than the overjammed gino infested sardine can that is the Guv, so I didn't even venture there during Axwell's set. Probably a good idea.

Anywho, back to sleep, but I'm glad I got my tickets ridiculously cheap, otherwise I wouldn't have went for 2 people.
