Can't wait to the see the plan Walt came up with :D

Also, it's pretty interesting following Walt's arc in the story. I think the writers have magnificently demonstrated his transformation (almost complete)

I ing love Mike. Stupid Jesse, ruining all the fun.

"Well she's dead."

lmao.

with only a few episodes remaining, it's going to be hard to live up to season 3 and 4 IMO

nice to see walt jr get some wheels though :)

Technically there's 12 eps left in this season, and I really think they're just laying tracks to some serious action.

I think that, in the future, the people involved with show will look back and regret the inclusion of dubstep in the final season. FOR SHAME

Haha I just posted it to my fb. I actually thought it fit really well, and I can't stand dubstep otherwise. It's Knife Party "Bonfire" btw.
LAdazeNYnights
The scene was well done, absolutely, but I don't think the song fitting well is really the point. I felt that the scene was tailored to the song. I don't know if that's often the case in TV or not, but it irked me a little. Maybe that has to do with my prejudice against the genre, but I think it's more that I'm displeased with the inclusion of something in the show for purely pop-culture reasons. I can't think of too many other instances of that.

Most of the other music in the show, as far as I can recall, has been either songs that are already firmly implanted in the pop-culture canon, or jesse's stuff, which seems to tend towards underground hip hop that I've never heard of, but that works to establish his character in some ways and also to set scenes well (parties in his house, for instance). The dubstep, on the other hand, was more of a quick ploy for a pop culture smile. They certainly weren't listening to it.

They have used dubstep in two seasons now.

Not to turn this thread into a dubstep debate thread, but there are few other genres that can convey excess as well as dubstep.

Like I said, I can't stand the stuff either, but I think all of the sounds (Jesse's parties come to mind also) fit the show very well. I'd have no problem admitting otherwise to myself even though I love the show so much.
Joss Weatherby
Yea, Jessies parties had Bassnectar in it...

Also I'd like to know what kind of music people would suggest otherwise for a scene like that... I doubt anything that most people listen to here would fit. Dubstep is putting a well needed shot of youth and stupidity back in to EDM, a whole class of music that has been beat down by hipsters who think less is more when really its like a snake eating its ing tail, at some point there is going to be nothing left but .
