that doesn't imply he would leave his family in order to protect himself. it's infinitely more likely he left to protect them, if anything. who knows, maybe they left him, or they're around. I don't see him bringing them to a meeting with a "cleaner" anyway.

think in the flash forward walts family is already dead.

love how the license plate on his car in that flash forward is from new hampshire with the motto "live free or die."

What do you think, Skyler, should I get the bushmaster or just go with hand grenades?

My thoughts during the episode tonight:

-The scene where Hank got shot and Walter dropped to the ground was great.

-I thought Walt was going to spit in Jesse's face but instead he admitted he saw Jane die.

-I don't get why Walt would incriminate himself AGAIN over the phone.

OH , THE VAN!

The phone call that Walt made at the end was an act; he said it not because he is evil but because he assumed the police were listening in and wanted to sound as evil as possible to place all of the blame solely on him and absolve his wife of all guilt and legal repercussions. That way at least she won't go to prison and can still raise Walt Jr. and Holly and they can be something closer to resembling a "family" without him. That's why he drove to the fire station before he made the call, and why he was crying throughout the phone call.

As far as what Walt did by selling Jesse down the road, not sure how to interpret that. I'm wondering if Walt doesn't consider Jesse going to Hank as being the ultimate betrayal, and is planning on the Nazi's killing him.

However, now that the Nazi's have most of Walt's money, I'm wondering if Walt isn't already aware that they plan on having Jesse cook for them, and he's got the M60 to go save him. That could be ty pipe dreams, and I'm still not sure what to think about it other than Walt being severely pissed at Jesse and hoping he dies.

On the other hand, the business is still going on and Walt knows it. I suppose we'll find out in the last two episodes what happens :)
