Was watching a friends videos from EDC Vegas, the lights were perfectly ssynced for all of Tiesto and Angellos sets. So I'd say both had prerecorded sets.
And to an earlier comment, I think it's a lot more then $100k |
i think if they made 100k a gig they wouldnt be touring nearly as much as they do. i really have no knowledge about this subject but that just doesnt sound right to me. |

| I don't think it's $100k/gig either, but some gigs probably do get that high. Most of them, I doubt it. |

Wow, the video got a cease and dicist order from Steve's camp, right before it hit the 100,000 view mark.
Oh dear, now it's really going to circulate. |

heres the original video, the first one that was taken down after only a few hours. dumpert ripped that one, added the green crown in the corner, then that guy with 100k views ripped that one and uploaded it on youtube.
obviously mine isnt the original as in the source, but its from the first youtube upload without the green crown. :)

Same here - the worst thing you can do is try to hide the evidence, after 100,000 people have seen it.
He really should have just said it was a one off thing for a special show and they required him to do it like this, apologise and move on - not come across like a whiney little bitch saying crap like "are you lot still talking about this, boo hoo etc" or make up some crap how the pryrotechnics would be impossible without him faking it.
I worked club lighting for two years and you can trigger anything you want at the push of a button - it's really not difficult and has been common practice for nearly 30 years. |

If you're one of the few lucky DJ's who can actually command $100,000 for one gig, then your management and booking agency would be begging you to play every day if you could. Plus, that mortgage ain't gonna pay itself :D |

Mortgages are for suckers who can't pay off the house in full. :D |

i's be willing to be the the Swedes got $100K plus for EDC... of course fees differ based on various factors at different events.
if Tiesto took in $20 million last year stands to reason the Swedes easily command 6-figures for a festival-type of show.
i know that for the Masquerade Motel the past March in Miami that their record label put up part of the $ for the event and did a profit sharing agreement.... |
