I remember when insomniac sued the city of LA for cancelling his show at the convention center, they wanted 250K for artist reimbursement.
So that could lead you in a direction of how much they are getting paid. But then again it was a single artist performance and not a festival. |

Don't compare what Tiesto would earn at at Tiesto in Concert. 99.999% of DJs can't approach that high of a fee, SHM included.
Now I could see that type of earnings for Armin at AO @ MM. |

That was a few years ago. I bet David Guetta earns more than he does now. Possibly Deadmau5 could earn as much as Tiesto now too. Just heard he sold out 4 shows in a row at the Palladium this week. |

Oh I imagine Tiesto still costs an arm & a leg. Kinda like how Oakey did in the early 2000s after his prime since he could sell out just by his name alone still.
Guetta is in a whole different field because of his cross-over into the mainstream. SHM is kind of going that direction, but they still don't have that noteriety. For example, I can go to random people at my work and they'll have for sure heard of Oakenfold and most likely at least have heard of Tiesto. Most won't know who SHM is. |

SHM are still rather new, even though the 3 guys behind it are not. They only started releasing music as SHM last year with their single 'One' I believe. Plus, they're tied to a major label and have a better chance of being played on Top 40 radio here in the US. Give them a few years and we'll see what happens. |

| Belasco paid $145k for Deadmau5 when he performed there earlier this year. Unfortunately, the club lost a lot of money that night. They were forced to sell tickets for $100 a piece. |

from what i hear he plays very similar sets each gig...maybe he will record his set in seattle and replay it for all 4 la gigs? |
