if villalobos sold out an afterhours, montreal was ready for luciano vs carl craig. The venue is what scares people...and please don't take offense to this, but i think the bad reputation of your brand (cancel, move, cancel) has caught up to it.
If you guys want to succeed again, you are going to have to do something to fix your tarnished image (which will only get worse with what just happened...people are seriously pissed all over facebook.) Montreal is better off with you guys doing shows, i mean it....but unless you guys do some positive PR to make people say good things about you guys again...you will be more done than Zubaz.
Back to basics maybe? Get small events right instead of going too big and getting everything wrong? Good luck marie:) |

| trying to have 2,000 people for Luciano vs. Carl Craig was ludicrous IMO. They should have aimed for 1,000 people and and if they did then they would have been happy with the outcome. And if 1000 is too small then stay away from "underground" names like these. |

1000 is to small for them (DJs), they didn't like it. |

The 'thinking heads' must've known that they were going head to head with the Fri and Sat Scareo dollar, even before Ricardo and Victor were announced, no?
Not to mention all the other variables listed earlier. They were in over their heads even before the fatal announcement, imo, I think anyone could figure that out. Next time book deadhouse :p |

| Then it wasn't the right kind of event to put on. And you can't pull the "we wanted to please the real fans" type of card, because anybody that really wanted to see Carl Craig had an opportunity to see him twice over the last couple of years and Luciano is well, garbage now. Anyway it's not like I was planning to go, but it kind of sucks as this reflects poorly in general. |

Well obviously the company that put this on is motivated purely by profits. Nothing wrong with that but they headed into this not knowing the target market well enough and thinking they can cash in on those two names alone. And if 1,000 wasn't good enough for them well, they should have known that much earlier. |
