| your reply was simple, condescending, bull and nothing. It did as little for this thread as Chinamon does for this board. You thought it would give people a sense that you were the all knowing evil cookie but you have added nothing to this conversation or thread. You may as well have replied with a simple "shadddaap" cause that's all you basically said while trying to maintain a certain authority over a thread you did not start or have hardly contributed too. All you have done in this thread is pranced around calling other people dumb while pretending you have all the answers....when you have no answers. You're views are not complicated nor filled with anymore answers then the next guy. Please come down off of your high horse. |

You're confusing brevity with simplification.
My post was brief, but far from simple; in the way that Mach X's post was simple.
If you can't understand why saying something like

is equivalent and as meaningless as the simpletons who hold signs that read "stop being greedy!"...then we're talking past each other. The only point I am trying to communicate is that simplification and misinformation is not unique to some of the supporters--as you can clearly see with Mach X's post.
And believe me, there is no high horse here. I am financially and morally indifferent to this movement. However, this doesn't mean that I won't point to inconsistencies in support of any given position. |

Those who are best versed in any subject are usually moderate voices... better understanding of something generally brings people in from the extreme fringes. |

I fully support increased banking and government checks and regulation, particularly in the U.S., *provided* that the average citizen takes a good hard look at their largely-blind habits of consumption - keeping up with the Joneses (or Kardashians, as it seems to be for this generation) - and realise that they're as much a part of the problem as the stuffed shirts against which they're rallying.
