Allright, this has officially been the worst time I ever had at Guvernment. First we stood 40 minutes in the wrong line-up, then we stood 30 minutes in the right line-up before we finally go in.
And then ....
HEAT + No space to move. That's all I can remember from that night!
There wasn't one track during which I wasn't pushed, shoved and whatever else.
I'm NOT EVER going to special events such as these at Guv again !
Why pay 32$ to see Armin, if I can pay 10$ at the same place, and enjoy it?

wow, what a dissapointing night... was expecting much more, but in fact it turned into one of the tiest parties i've been to, if not the worst ever... got in there really early, listened to great openning set from mark, that was about the highlight of the night, from there on it just went downhill...
BBB was just so incredibly bad, that i had to leave main room and check out kool haus... i don't know how anyone can appreciate what he spins, very very nasty... anyway, kool haus was better, not a whole lot though... danny howels was ok, listened to him for about an hour and wasn't really that impressed so i decided to check out IM in the main room... the trip there took me almost an hour, holy ... and IM were good, but just didn't do it for me... by the time armin came on, i was already so pissed from all the heat and exhaustion, i had to split... i listened to first couple of tracks, great openning, it promised to be a great set! too bad i couldn't stay, i really began losing it in there...
i guess i too will have to take a break from guv for a looooong time... well, maybe not kool haus... |

lol! same thing happened to me, stood there for 20 minutes then my friend went ahead and checked and finally went to the right line. |

| omg, when i got there with my friends at around 11:30 and saw the HUGE ING LINE one of the guys I was with went up to see if he knew anyone working security that night. Thank god he did, had to slip the guy a couple bucks though, but was worth it in the end. |

had a good time for once!
my friends made it possible as well as the local TA's! The people were pushing and shoving but all I had for them was a peace sign and a smile. I was patient, so I waited and didn't rush to get anywhere at any specific time, so it all worked out because my expectations were below average.
One part of the night, way too hot with way too much smoke, was about to choke but made it to the patio where I admired the stars!
Whenever you have to get through a crowd of people, just rush looking all sick and yelling "I have a situation here!"

To make matters even worse, 10 minutes before I left some in' guy threw up all over my pants and shoes.

hey..if i didnt get those autographs, id be bitchin bout this event for the rest of the month....but i did so :D :D :D
man was everything on me soaked.....
it was surprising how many TAs met up by pure coincidence inspite of the way the joint was packed.....twas all good :D :D
i went for the music....and if i had to rate the venue..id give it only a 4/10 cos:
1. compared to Viva, the lighting is very very boring....
2. the management is too greedy and therefore made everyone suffer last night..
3. just because there are so many rooms it doesnt mean that its a better club, even if u cant access each room easily thru a central hallway
4. Drinks could be cheaper..
5. Ginos that came to see bad boy bill were pissin me off by walkin around shirtless
6. Damn ugly,untalented stage dancing chicks.
8. No respect for the amazing performance presented by Armin and showing some respect by letting him go on till 8 even tho the crowd demanded for more.... hell deep dish had a 5 hour set, y couldnt they let armin have 5 hours too??
9. Irritating gino bouncers who were overdramatic about the situatin they caused at the doors
10. the hype of bad boy bill being filmed and broadcasted live on the screens while the real Gods - Infected Mushroom and Armin whouldve gotten a similar treatment so that their fans too could see him from way behind |

I became wet as hell(as if I wasn't before from all the sweat), but it's better than having some guy's undigested food on your pants(lucky for me, he didn't eat too much during that event, otherwise it would've been worse, much worse) |

| It's been given well enough feedback for this night. I'd like to add that putting all those "too many people, too hot, too blabla.." together everyone I know including myself had such a great time. Personally I think it is one of the best parties of 2002. Closing this, I'd like to say thank you to all those people who were there with me sharing the amazing sets of Infected Mashrooms and AVB. I'll be looking forward to see all of you on the next event. |
