Except for the overcrowding Sunday night was incredible! From the moment I stepped in at 11pm (thank god I got there early) to 8am, there wasn't one song that I didn't dance to. I usually like to take breaks but I was on my feet for 9 straight hours - a new record for me!
Armin's performance was exceptional once again. I thought it was really cool when Armin's manager was telling him to wrap it up and Armin just put his hands up and smiled...classy.
At 7am, I went over to Koolhaus to catch the last hour of Deep Dish's set and was expecting a drop in energy level but I was suprised to see the Koolhaus relatively packed with people keeping the party going. I love that driving house music and those long mixes were well-timed and the quick buildups kept people dancing. I didn't find them boring or uninterested at all - they did a 5 hour set. It was a great way to end a night.
Nice to meet a few TAs I never met before: DJ El Kay Dee, Cyrus King, and Tatgirl (that's a cool autograph). Glad I bumped into you Arcticboy, but I guess I missed you at Koolhaus. I knew you wouldn't miss any good parties! You weren't kidding about DD throwing it down!

| Party was good, Guvernment sucked ass. But the party was wicked, that's the main thing. Desidel, it REALLY pisses me off that those ing IDIOT bouncers did not let ppl pass through, we should have just left and gone around to another entrance through to Guv...would have made things a lot easier. All I have to say is that I've NEVER seen a special event sooooooooo rammed, and I've been to almost all of them, even Smirnoff Exp @ Guv wasn't that bad. Overall I'd give the night out a 9/10 music wise and vibe, meeting ppl etc.No rating for everything else as it was so bad. |

i drove all the way from Chicago to wait 4 hours in line to be told by the bouncers that i could not get in. i guess it was my fault for underestimating the crowd at the Guv but my friends and i have never seen it THAT busy before!

| Yeh Devantes I heard you were coming. All I can say is I have NEVER seen Guv that packed before, ever in all the times I have been there, it was just fooking nuts. If it were me I would have bribed the bouncer to get my ass inside after driving 4 hrs...damnz man. Come to Viva for Marco V. Will not be as rammed (hopefully) it wasn't when we saw Gielen. |
