I was too wrecked yesterday to post anything. Based on what everyone else posted here already, I am amazed I had as good a time as I did. I have to admit, this was one of my favourite parties to date.
Got there around 11:30, and Arctic Boy was near the front of the line, waiting for us (myself, tranceXtacy, cloud9 and blissntrance). Got inside in less than 10 minutes.
Immediatly went to Guv to check on a girl that i was supposed to meet up with, and left my friends at koolhaus. Got there within 10 minutes. Not bad. I guess the mad crush hadnt started yet. She wasnet there, so I headed back to Koolhaus. That took a while longer (maybe 25). Started to get annoyed at being crushed, but I dealt with it. After I got back to koolhaus, we decided to go to guv to catch BBB. We lucked out because we found a way to guv that avoided the Orange Room, and hence, we were not stuck behind that gate. We got in in 5 minutes.
Stayed at guv the rest of the night, cause I was dying to see IM, and AVB again. Absolutely loved IMs set. It was fast, crazy, and drove me nuts. I would definetly catch them again. A lot of jealousy toward DJ El Kay Dee who was able to get their sigs.
AvB had an amazing set as well. By the end of IMs set, the dancefloor was starting to clear a bit (but still way to overcrowded). Was able to dance at least. Then my friend (the girl I was meeting up with), was able to find me (being 6'5" helps i guess). It looks like we might be hooking up, so maybe I was biased when I thought this was one of the best parties ever.
Was also able to meet a bunch of TAs. Saw Fir3start3r, Time2Burn, Arctic Boy, DJ El Kay Dee, Sage, and many others (sorry, it was too loud for me to hear your names, and I was prolly too wrecked to remember anyway).
However, there were a few blaring downsides to the party that definetly must be looked into.
1) Capacity - There needs to be a capacity set, and observed, which is inline with fire codes etc etc, but also not so packed that ppl in attendance cannot enjoy it. We paid good money to go there, we should at least expect to enjoy the show.
2) Line ups, and traffic inside the venue have to have better organization. I agree with the one way thing, but then there should be two separate paths between Koolhaus and Guv, one way for each path (ie a tented path outside between the entrances). That way they can keep constant flow between rooms, and fulfill their promise of complete venue access.
3) People that pay for tickets should not be refused admission. You know what your capacity is, and your know how many tickets are sold. So you should stop selling tickets at the door, if you know you are close to capacity.
4) They have to have a better system in place to deal with the long lines. It completely ruins your night having to spend hours in line. I lucked out, but I know many more ppl didnt.
5) Something has to be done about the heat. The guv taps in the Bathrooms have to provide cold water (not that lukewarm ), and have to have a stronger flow.
I went to mexico last month, and one of the clubs there had large CO2 canisters that would periodically spray the crowd with pressurized CO2/dry ice (i think). Anyway, this would be an excellent (and trippy) way to keep people cool, and a good addition to any club. Anyone with influence should mention this to Guv management.
NE way.. I'll shut up now. |

I REMEMBER YOUR SHIRT SO VIVIDLY TATGIRL!!!!
I'm not sure if you remember me but I was the asian guy with the blank sleeveless top and Az came and introduced me to you. The funny thing that I remember was that before he did the introduction, I was just bluntly staring at your chest (haha the matrix pattern) and I thought that you might have took offense to that but you didn't. (hope not :D) Good meeting u finally.

I fit the description but I don’t know about that name
|
Well I saw an asian guy with the ball around his neck, he was walking with a bunch of other guys, who I thought were Desidel and his friends.
Question: This should be simple question, but what was the name of that Badboybill kept on spinning during his set. He used the main tune of the song as a "reoccuring theme" throughout his whole set. Guys know what I speak of? |

Yes, I remember you Maverick (hence, I gave u a shout out in my post ;) ).
No, I didn't take offence to people staring at my chest/shirt, but I did mind the gino guys who came up & poked at my chest when they had to compliment my shirt. I had some words for them...! One jumped back quick when I went for his balls, as I tried to prove my point to him. I know my chest is big & gets in the way of things, but I don't want strange gino's touching it, just cuz it has a light on it. |

once again, i had a wicked time at this party... i got to guv late, and saw the evil line up, there was no way i would stand in that thing, luckily i was hooked up.... but it was way too packed however, around 4 it got less crowded.
i watched armin till 7 30 and then finished my night off with deep dish till 8 30. for my first time seeing Infected Mushroom, i must say... wicked! i liked their set, but they should have played longer.
i was too mangled too remember any songs that anyone played... but the night was amazing.... |
