To my knowledge Markus didn't play an extended set at Guv in Feb.

Markus, the ing unicorn slayer :p

BTW anyone remember the party with J00F at Stereo back in 2007? My only time at Stereo and one of the greatest clubbing experiences of my life. Hearing Prog House->Prog Trance->Prog Psy->Full On Psy on that sound system was :eyespop:

That's not Markus Schulz, that is the opener Mark Oliver.

Markus played from 1 until 8am at Guv in Feb from what I remember.

Seeing as how I can't really prove you wrong due to the lack of evidence in the video, I found one that pretty much is impossible to deny being Markus. Although the quality is not amazing sound wise, the horrible vocals and even worse rip off of Universal Nation at the end does justice to his $65 price tag.

You must be referring to this:

Unversal Nation- Markus Schulz Mash UP

If you do not like this, then that is personnel preference and it is fine. But for me, hearing that on a massive sound system would be amazing!

I might go just to listen to the first 3 or so hours of his set, I'm not a big fan of what he uses to play after that

I cant believe how much complaining there is concerning ticket prices. At the same time, I do understand, $60 is a lot for a cover charge to a club but holy guys, consider this an amazing deal. You wouldnt believe how much people pay for tickets in Vancouver. It's got to be the highest prices in the country by far. You wanna see a 2 hour Markus Schulz set in Vancouver you can expect to pay $45 (after fees and surcharges). Thats how much i paid for his upcoming show on the 28th and i got the early in bird price.

Last year Armin in May cost $130 after all the BS fees and it was a 3.5hr set. He came to Vancouver 2 weekends ago and it was starting at $77 for a lame 2.5hr set. A party like BeB would first off never even take place in western canada, and if it did, we would be paying a minimum $200 per ticket. Tickets at Tiesto at NYE with Gareth Emery was starting at $130 before the fee's. Just insane.

I would gladly fork over $60 for an extended Markus set at a club where the atmosphere is unmatched and unrivaled. From what i read about Stereo, there is nothing that comes close to its vibe that any club in Western Canada could offer. Vancouver is a place to party with some brutal crowds and to top it off we have to pay the highest prices. Pisses me off. Sorry for the rant.

too true :p

Van's not a bad place to club from 10-3AM (sometimes) but it's still minor leagues. You go to Stereo with a decent dj and enough rest and you get your money's worth and then some.
